WOW, I'm shocked...
You know it is nice when your Animals are all waiting for you at the door when you get home after a 16 hour shift
It's even nicer when Both your BP's Nail their food like they haven't eaten in a year haha
Not only that but they were both out cruisin around in there tanks when I came down to top off the water bowls and get things ready !!!
Diablo did something I have never seen him do before, You would of swore he was a spider
He has never struck so fast ever that I can re call...
He is putting down a 39 gr weenling and Aurora is on his 29 gram
they hate me at the pet store LOL
Quick edit
Diablo's first larger rat took him almost an hour to slide down... this one in under 7 minutes and it was 4 grams heavier

Re: WOW, I'm shocked...
I love it when my snakes are excited to eat! I had the condemned waiting in a tub and made the mistake of leaving it near Gene's tub (my bigger BP), he was in hungry mode after that! I didn't even get a chance to get my hand out of the tub before the rat was wrapped. I swear I giggled like a schoolgirl!
Then, my corn did something I've only seen in youtube videos/on TV - when she struck, she wrapped and rolled across the tank and into her hide, it was pretty neat to see.
I was a bit concerned that my baby ball wasn't going to eat, so we brought her tub into another room and put a blanket over it with enough room for us to watch because it was a live feeding. It took her about 15 minutes but damn, she eventually struck and struck good! Right on the nose. *sniff* I'm so proud.
It makes me happy to see that others have luck like I do. I've yet to have a snake refuse a meal (unless it was my big bp and frozen/thawed, he just won't do it).

You have a good streak! I just got a baby ball that has had a few meals under his belt... But live. I just got home Friday and planned to feed him this Wednesday. Would you suggest live or F/T? I'd prefer F/T, but not sure if it's a good time to attempt given his age and having just moved.

I'm not sure on when to switch, but there are others here that are more knowledgeable about that sort of thing. Our little one was started on f/t, but we feed live because that's what we have right now. I would think that you could try the switch at any time. It seems that the less live food they get, the better, but I could be wrong .

So .. try the F/T, and then if he doesn't take it within the hour, offer live?
