    Talking Nice form, Izzy!

My spotted python, Izzy, is quite the exuberant feeder! Wish I'd actually videotaped this feeding, because she went CRAZY - flailing about like the mouse was putting up a fight, except for the fact that it was already dead when I gave it to her. Anyway, I did grab the camera when she struck this pose:

(she's going into shed too, but that never stops her)

And yes, the mouse is tiny - it was all my supplier had left, so I just gave her two.

Thanks! She is a cutie, and has a really cool personality... she and my (recently departed) male are the only experience I have with Spotteds, but based on them I'd say they are VERY curious and friendly. Unlike your typical BP, who hides/balls when you intrude, these guys pop out to say hello! They're also much better feeders, as you can clearly see here.

I paid very little for my pair, thanks to a certain BP.net member who sold them to me. But normally, I think they go for like $50/baby or $100/adult? Not a pricey snake at all, and worth every penny! You could also consider a Stimson's or Children's Python, which are quite similar to the Spotteds... I also have a pair of Stimson's, and they're pretty cool too.

P.S. Here's an example of how friendly they (Spotteds) are... Izzy says hi!!
