    Green Urine and Loose Skin

    So.. First post. No pressure.

I just got my first ball today from petsmart. I know, huge mistake, but she had a great personality and she's very well mannered. Anyway, she urinated tonight and it had a green hue. I would take a picture if I could upload from my iPhone but I can't. I'm curious as to what would or could cause green urine. There were urates was well which were white and seemed normal. Also, her skin seems to be a bit loose and dry. Would that be because she is dehydrated or becuase she hasn't had adequate humidity levels?

I've seen green poo before. Not sure I'd worry about that. As far as loose, dry skin...that's pretty much how they come from Petco/Petsmart. Dehydrated and usually with mites. Keep the humidity up, always ensure plenty of fresh water and it should get better. I would use a white water bowl and keep an eye out for black specs in the water. If you find any, you'll know you have mites. Mites can be treated with a host of remedies...the most common being Provent-a-mite.
