Lesser x Mojave = Questions
I would really like to add a lesser and a mojave to my collection, but cannot decide on which one should be male and which one female. I plan on eventually pairing them to try for a BEL.(Sorry if this should be a breeding thread...). I currently have 1.0 bumblebee, 0.1 pastel, 0.1 banded normal. What do you guys think? I plan on getting one of each morph, but cannot decide on which one should be male/female.... Right now I'm leaning towards a lesser female and a mojave male. Thoughts???
Herps are cool.
One of the attractions of outdoor pursuits activities for many people is that life is reduced to the barest essentials, and in the process a more intimate connection to the natural world is established. Food that would be trashed or fed to the dog at home tastes wonderful, a cup of murky water is much appreciated, and after a few days, even a thin sleeping pad can feel like a comfortable mattress as tired bones are able to rest after a hard day's work.

I guess the only thing holding me back is the idea of a lesser/pastel... I guess I'll just have to get a pastel male too

Money wise, a good mojave female will cost less, so you'll spend less money to make your combo, and it will be just as nice, if you go with a male lesser and female mojave.
If you have future breeding plans that including making a whole bunch of lesser combos, then go with the female lesser, of course.

Ill have russo's for you soon. Cheapest way to get a BEL .. ( from me anyway) but mojo and lessers are prettier.
1.0 Spider
0.1 Green Tree Python
1.0 Pastel 100% Double Het Clown Pied
0.1 Pastel 100% Het Pied

If you want a BEL, and you want a pastel lesser, I would do the opposite then and go with a lesser male and a mojo female.
That way you can go for your BEL with the mojave female and pastel lessers with your pastel girl.

I think that I would rather just pick up a pastel/lesser from a breeder and then be able to go in a different direction. I'm more interested in bees than anything else. My bumblebee won't be ready this season, so I am just going to do some investing in animals that will be ready this season and will fit into breeding in the future. Now I'm 75% lesser female and mojave male. Thanks for the input!

This. And you can also pair your bee with the mojave. Mojave bumblebees are fantastic looking, maybe not as bright as say a fire bumblebee, but from what i've seen, theyre just as clean.
