Buy now or wait until Show

I was planning on buying my first ball python in the next few weeks. I have always wanted a albino ball python but due to just having moved I am on a budget for money so I can spend that much money. I was looking online and noticed that Northwest Captive Breeders Show is in October by my house...

So I was wondering what should I do... buy a adorable but normal ball python now or save up for the next two months and go to the reptile show and pick from all the wonderful snakes there with a larger budget.

As much as I want to drop all the money on a fancy snake I am finding it hard to because it is my first snake.

    One last thing...

What are some of the coolest things you have seen at Shows?

If an albino is what you really want, I would save up for the show and get one. Plus, all the snakes will be right there in front of you. You will be show to hold them and check them all out.

I would def save until the show. Who knows, you may find one that has an great offor on unlike the prices you see online. Also shows are super fun and you get to see many diffrent morphs and beautiful snakes.

Re: Buy now or wait until Show

Wait for the show, or at least that time frame. If money is tight right now, then you'll be strained to do what's right (vet) if, by random bad luck, something goes wrong with the normal. By waiting, you will be in a better financial situation overall, have more options, and get to go play at the show with money in your pocket!

If I find an animal online that I want and I am not talking about adding a morph for the sake of having it regardless of it's look, I am talking about the perfect individual for my plans, I will buy the animal even if there is an upcoming show. Just did this past week knowing that next week I will be at the Myrtle Beach Show.

Some animals cannot be passed and you may not see what you want at the show.
