    Double Sired Clutch!

So my second clutch of the year was from a female i wasn't sure was gravid, until one day went into the room to find that she had 4 eggs that she was coiled around. Around day 49 I decided to cut open the clutch, some weren't looking so good, just wanted to check the health of them. The first egg I cut was a Spider!

After I saw that little one, I was shocked because I thought i had put my pastel jungle with her. I moved on to the next ones. The second one was a normal. The 3rd one was not a spider, nor was it a pastel or normal. I guess at some point i put my butter with her and I saw the little one

I couldn't believe how lucky I had gotten to have a double sired clutch! Now there all out of the eggs, and took some pics of the spider & butter. This butter is SMOKIN!!!!

    Very nice looking babies!!

I have to ask, were you nervous about cutting so early? My last clutch got really shriveled and I cut them on day 52, and I was nervous as all hell that I cut them kinda early. I'm sitting at day 55 on this next clutch, and resisting the urge to cut them!

    Re: Double Sired Clutch!

    Thanks Everyone!

Heather, I do get a little nervous cutting early, but i've cut as early as day 46, and everyone came out just fine! I sometimes get a little anxious and tired of waiting, but it doesn't hurt them.
