You've likely read the horror story Smynx posted about our trip to the chain pet store ( http://ball-pythons.net/index.php?na...ewtopic&t=1276 ) and can imagine the disappointment of walking away empty handed.

As I was headed to Cinincinati by way of Columbus to go see Opeth I checked the links to the breeders here on this site and got in touch with Don Hamper ( http://www.pythons.com/hamper/ ).

Hooked up with him and got a M/F pair. BEAUTIFUL snakes, wonderful markings (both partial stripes to boot), healthy well adjusted cuties.

After they've had a little bit to settle in we'll post some pics!

Can't go wrong with this guy as he has been dealing with Pythons sice the late 50's and really knows how to treat his herps. His prices are pretty much unbeatable at $35 for males and $50 for females.

    having problems

Best prices I've seen. Congrats on your new pals! Hmmmmm I have relatives in OH.......(gears are turning) I could use a visit to them as an excuse to expand my own collection.
Just checked out the site, good assortment of snakes. He seems like a good guy in your opinion?

    Bill is teh RULE! ACK!

Good man indeed - very commited to his animals. He mentioned recently acquiring an adult pair of 15' AfRocks which recently gave him a clutch of 40! That's a lot of potential mouths to feed - mouths with huge appetites.

If you want to get in touch with him I suggest giving him a call. He does not have a storefront or the insurance necessary to allow folks into his facility and so prefers to either ship or if schedules are amenable to meet you at a location convenient to him and let you pick if he has multiples. I don't want to overextend his availability it'll be based on his fairly hectic schedule. He does do a lot of local shows too so that's always a possibility.

Give him a call - very friendly chap.
