    My non feeder breeder rats

I'm still in the early stages, but thought Id show off some of my ratties. All were bred by me except for Shingle, Gwen and Bonnie! I've got a couple retired girls that are coming up on 2 years and still going strong, no tumours, head tilts, aggression, or any signs of ill health.
    Here are my boys!

Shingle, a dumbo black blazed veriegated

Spig, a dumbo black berkshire who is also a carrier for hairless, himalayan, and russian blue

Buddy, a top eared Russian blue self who's also a carrier for dumbo and hairless

And Liam, a dumbo beige hairless that might be a carries for russian blue and himalayan.

And here are some of my girls.

Gwen, a dumbo beige hooded who carries the russian blu gene

Bonnie, a dumbo black hooded whos a carrier for russian blue

Dot, a dumbo black headspot bareback, carrier for hairless, himalayan, and russian blue

Annie, a dumbo russian blue bareback, carrier for hairless, himalayan and russian blue

Smidge, a dumbo masked himalayan, possible carrier for russian blur and hairless

Gin, a dumbo beigr blazed bareback, shes mighy be a himi, just waiting for her to molt again. Possible hairless, russian blue carrier

    an blue carrier

Daisy, a dumbo russian blue hooded, possible carrier for hairless and himalayan

And finally Maple, Shingles daughter. She's almost identical to dad except she has a headspot instead of a blaze, shes also a possible hairless and russian blue carrier

You have some cool rats! I dont really know what mine are but the majority look like shingle, daisy and bonnie... And then a few of them are white with some very light beige coloring in their fur and black eyes. And one girl with red eyes and is all white.... I am really getting into it though. I didnt think breeding rats would be so cool!

I've got a nice siamese male that popped out of one of my litters awile back, and a nice dark 2 week old siamese girl too

Now that I've got a couple good lines of healthy long lived rats I'm pulling out the best coloured/marked to work on show quality rats. Obviously I'm a couple generations off still, but I'm excited with what I'm starting with!!!!

I'm going to be breeding marked hairless in the near future as well.

Where did you get your original rats? I want to breed for feeders but I also want diversity and cool looking rats. I'm really interested in starting out with quality genetics. The Russian blues, dumbos, and beige hooded ones are the ones that pop out at me. Cuz then I could make a combination of them which would be fun too

    Thanks, SC

Buddy and Gwen are my absolute favorites. Where can I get my hands on those?
