    Food size question

Hello,I had a question about the F/T i give to my girl, the store were i buy her food from, which is a really nice place, has the different sizes or rats priced differently well I go buy the 10-15% body weight and my girl is around 516g so she should be around 50-70g rats roughly but at the place i buy the rats the 'Small' rats are to small for her the largest being around 56g which is ok and the 'large' rats are at least 100g so i don't want to feed those to her cause they are big.

So my point is a few days ago i needed to buy her food again so i went to buy them and i got 4 of the largest 'small' rats they had which was between 46-54g so should i feed he sooner then the 5 day schedule she is on now or do something else, thanks.

I run into the same problem and just keep them on the feeding schedule with no problems. I started using a local rat breeder and when I order my rats I am able to be a little more specific when I get them from him. I can ask for larger small rats or smaller large rats, you know things like that. If you are able to attend a show or something you can find out who is coming that sells feeders and see if you can get a little specific with them. If not just stick with what your doing and you should be fine.

No. it takes pretty much the same time to digest a 40g rat as a 60g rat.
