took f/t rat first time no issues!

So yesterday I told you all that my bp had taken a f/t mouse with no issues at all well the same goes for the small rat she ate last night. In fact it was her best feeding response yet. Next week I'm moving her up to a medium rat as I still cant see where the rat is ie. no bump. But needless to say I'm happy she took it. And I know I should have taken her off mice awhile ago but I had to convince the gf that it was the right move, and that was no easy task.

I've only had to transition one snake from mice to rats so far but had no issues with the switch either. I use a separate feeding tank for my snakes. They know when they're in that tank it is time to eat. When I put her in and dangled the rat in front of her she grabbed it like it was just a large mouse.

I feed my bp and my rtb both in thier tanks, and I knew the red tail wouldnt have any issues. But was pleasantly surprized when Lou, my bp, ate the rat.
