Well My rescued BP died today it was very sad he was just alive this after noon i went to go buy two mice for Jojo and Patches and came back and patches was gone. I was half expecting it i coulnt get him to drink and he didnt even drink when he was soaking. So i half prepared myself for the worse but it still hurts. But i got a new BP and she is very healty she is very light and has very little to no tan pattern maybe Axanthic who knows i will take her to a vet and have it sexed.

    Thanks,
    Damien

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that Damien. Did you take him to the vet since you got him? Do you think he just died from inappetance? That's so sad to hear. It's also kind of scary, as I have a rescue bp that refuses to eat, though I'm hoping there is still hope for her. I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your critters.

    Guess what i heard.

I got patches from a dealer who gave him to me i hoped i could save him maybe it was wishful thinking. But he was very dehydrated i had him for a month before he died.
    Thanks,
    Damien

I'm sorry to hear that the rescue didn't make it. But at least he had a caring owner at the end, who did everything possible to make his life better.

I'd love to see pics of your new snake when she is settled in!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss as well. I had a terrible scare a few weeks back, so I can imagine how you must feel.. Thank goodness everything is working out for my little Champ.

Oh man...I am sorry to hear about the passing of Patches. At least you know that you did the best you could for him and tryed to save him.One of the unfortunate realities I have come to in my years of dealing with animals is that you ARE going to lose some.It is painful and troubling but I think that you will be okay if you concentrate on your new BP and do the best you can to rear him/her...This forum is an excellent place to discuss your questions with friendly people that will not make fun of you for asking most anything.

My Ball Python hobby now consists of my three rapidly growing "babies' - I do a lot of study on my own and I am participating in this forum more and more...
