Usually something is stressing it. How is it's setup? Temp/humidity numbers? Two hides? What is your heat source? When are you trying to feed and how? When as in day or night. Are you feeding live or f/t? We need this info to try to help?

My question is are you offering it the same kind of food the person you got it from was. While everything everyone said above is true what with light, temp, hide's and all being equally as important. Make sure that you don't try and offer somthing that it isn't use to eating ie live mice, live rat pup or whatever it is.

Re: why wont my BP eat?

45-60 % humidity on cool side at about 79 degrees. about 88-92 degrees on hot side with about 40-50% humidity. 20 gallon tank. hid on both sides. water bowl in middle. and it was supposively fed frozen/thawed pinkies.. so thats what ive been trying. ive tried leaving her alone for 15 days then feeding her. nope. ive tried feeding her in and out of her terrarium. only thing left is to try live. but i didnt wanna just go by a live mousee and waste it if she isnt hungry. unless i keep it and feed it to keep it alive. idk. anything can help though

Feed it in the tank. A pink is to small. You should feed it a feeder that is equal to the width of your snake at it's thickest section. Probably a hopper or maybe a fuzzy since you said it was thin.

Do you have the uth on a t-stat?

I bet it was actually being fed fuzzies. Once you move them up to a mouse with fur that is more developed it is hard to get them to go back down to a pink.

and not it is not on a t-stat. i dont think it needs to be because i have no problems with the heat gettin too high or low. it actually stays about the same all day and night the way it is now.

i think that might be it. hte lady told me that it should be fed fuzzies but then she gave me pinkies.. maybe i should try fuzzies before i try live

The uth will not change your air temp. Uth will get over 100°. It needs a tstat. Get a IR temp gun and you will find your surface temp to hot. unplug it and get a tstat so you don't burn your snakes belly.

I have a medium uth and without a tstat it reaches 115+
