I know this is gonna sound rediculous but, my 5 month old little guy "Plissken" just sits in the middle of his PVC pipe he comes out late at night when everything is dark. Should I even turn the lights on in the room to look at him or is it best to keep the door shut and not even sit and watch.

I caught him poking his head out at one point, but when I came in the room and turned the lights on he went back in the pipe.So that got me wondering.
