Should I help? Substrate swallowed.

I know swallowing a little aspen isn't going to kill a snake, but when my bp yawned afterwards it looked like a live was still in her mouth. Should I try to fish it out? I don't want to cause a regurge.

I also would leave it keep an eye on it however wood bits can get stuck if it is still there after an hour and the snake seems distressed I might intervene at that point.

Is the substrate sticking to the feeder because it's wet from thawing? If so place the feeder in a zip bag when thawing so it doesn't soak up so much water.

I always place mine in a zip bag then submerge them in the water and I never have a substrate problem.

X 2 don't throw in a soaking wet rat. I either blow dry or towel dry.

No it was live. It's a hatchling so it's not on f/t yet.
