I read today that the show in August has been cancelled and might happen in December instead.

Re: Texas Reptile Expos
My girlfriend (Jellyfish) and I are planning on going to the upcoming Arlington show and the Dallas/Ennis Repticon.
Doubtful on the Austin or San Antonio shows though.
Actually seeing as we maybe heading to Schlitterbahn the weekend of the 11th may just stop in on the Austin show, but that will be a spur of the moment decision nothing really planned.

Re: Texas Reptile Expos
I had not heard that. Where did you read about the schedule change?
The August dates are still up on their website.

I will be attempting to make the austin show. It just depends on my scheduling at work. I missed the last ETHS show here a month or so back in North West houston, but I heard it was a dud anyhow from Bryan Hummel. Oh well

Re: Texas Reptile Expos
I've only been to the San Antonio expo before. What are y'alls thoughts on Austin's?
Herps are cool.
One of the attractions of outdoor pursuits activities for many people is that life is reduced to the barest essentials, and in the process a more intimate connection to the natural world is established. Food that would be trashed or fed to the dog at home tastes wonderful, a cup of murky water is much appreciated, and after a few days, even a thin sleeping pad can feel like a comfortable mattress as tired bones are able to rest after a hard day's work.
