    Does the Codominant combination matter?

So, to make a 'bumblebee' you need a pastel to a Spider. Does it matter which is the male or which is the female? I'm sure you can make it either way, but do breeders prefer one of the other in 2 gene combinations? Will the male or the female in a co-dom combination show out more? I am assuming its 50/50 but I was just thinking about it today.

Does not matter in the least bit.

In your example of just wanting to make a Bumblebee it doesn't matter which is male and which is female.
But, you want to also plan ahead. In your example I would want the Spider to be male and the Pastel to be a female so if you hit on a male Bumblebee the next season you can put the Bee back to mom and have a shot at Killerbees.
