Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened.

One time I was trying to feed live and I grabbed the little rat by its tail to put him in the tub with my snake and as I was walking over to the tub he was spinning all crazy like. The skin on his tail ripped off and he fell and hit the ground and ran under the rack. When I got him out I couldnt help but feel bad for the guy but he made a quick meal for one of my ladies so he didnt suffer much... The thing is I was only taking a couple steps from the tank I was holding my feeder rats in to the rack it all happened so fast!
