Well, on advice from the workers at the reptile store I was told to "try" feeding every 5 days for a little while. To me that means 2 more times after tonight. My son's female, regular, has been eating very well for us since 1 refusal the first time we tried back in May. That was also the first time she tried frozen thawed and it was in a brand new environment.

Tonight had been 5 days since her last feed and we went through the routine. I guess we're comfortable with how it's going and I have 2 or 3 of the smaller adult mice left before we switch to the larger ones then i believe the small rats are next and probably a long ways off. Once we switch to the extra large adult mice I plan to drop back to once a week. I think a shed is imminent and we've seen a change in her size from when we first got her.

On a side note we picked up a pretty cool book at Barnes and Noble. It's called "SNAKE" by Chris Mattison. It includes a lot of different snakes with history, evolution, environment, shapes, sizes, scale types, anatomy and movement plus similarities and differences of different types of snakes.

I'm reading it and learning a few things. If you are well versed in snakes and herpetology it may be redundant, but if you are new to the scene, or just like reading snake books I'd say give it a read.
