    Buying a new Cage

I am currently saving money to purchase my one and only ball python a new cage. I was thinking about purchasing a tub, but now I am hesitant to do so. The reason being is because I only have one snake, and I don’t see myself purchasing more until the future. I was looking around and noticed some cool display cages. These cages seem to do a great job at holding proper temps, and humidity. I was wondering if anyone could give me any feedback, or provide an online site who sells these cages. What equipment should I buy?

Display cages didn't work well for me. I switched to RUB's (Really Useful Boxes). They seem much happier in them. A shelf, heat cable under 1/3 of the cage, and an RUB on top. EZ............... Good Luck!

Are you talking about tanks or PVC cages?

RUB's, Really Useful Boxes, I believe is a brand name. They are tubs, just like Sterilite and Rubbermaid...

RUB's are similar to Rubbermaid & other brands of storage containers, but they're very well made and vented where the top & bottom meet. Holes aren't necessary for air, just for decreasing humidity. Also, they're clear so you can see your critter in there.
