    Opinions needed

Hey all need opinions on this girl. We've posted pictures of her before when she was around 150grams. Now she is 1250grams and we wanted to see what everyone thought she might be. We bought her as a pastel but it's pretty obvious she is something more. She has clear sheds (no pattern) as well.

I almost would have said pastel butter at first glance from her "adult" pics but the yellow/cream/browns just aren't really there. The blushed out head on the hatchling shot and how vibrant the yellows are gets me. Is she a firefly (pastel x fire)? Pastel yellowbelly? The "adult" pics are what lead me to make those guesses, as I wouldn't have a clue just from her hatchling shot, other than a really bright yellow pastel with a super cool blushed out head, lol! Did you guys produce her or pick her up somewhere else? Something subtle going on there but I agree, it looks like it's more than just pastel that she has going on.

She looks hypo pastel to me. She's got the faded out head, and you say she sheds clear, but I honestly don't know how that works with a combo hypo morph.

I'm with Mike, I don't really see the hypo. Not saying it isn't there but I don't really see it in the hatchling pics or the adult shots either one. The faded/blushed out head would lead me to that as well but then the rest of her is pretty blushed out in spots too, without the overall "look" I associate with a visual hypo. My 2012 firefly sheds clear or with very little pattern on the three sheds I've gotten from her thus far...I dunno. Good looking girl, regardless but I'm at a loss as to what she has going on.

No we didn't produce her we picked her up as a hatchling. Part of me almost wishes her to be a pastel and nothing else. She would throw some awesome combos but we will be pairing her to a cinnamon het hypo this year most likely to try and prove out the ghost.

Good luck proving her out! And I hear you on the wanting her to just be a pastel, lol! Sometimes simple is so much better than trying to keep track of two, three+ gene animals that are or aren't hets for this and that or possible hets...drive ya' crazy, lol! Regardless, good luck with her.

Have you asked the breeder what the pairing was that produced her?
