    Shedding/Mites

how many days until the snake will start to shed? his eyes were fully blue about 2/3 days ago so how long now until he will shed? and also he did have mites so shall i spray "mite off" on him after he has shed his skin?

mite off is a mite killer in the uk.

    thanks

Is Provent-a-mite available in the UK? IMO that's the only thing that works for mites...

I don't know the directions for that product so I can't answer that really. If it says it's safe to use directly on the snake, then sure. I know with PAM you don't ever spray the animal...

    Re: Shedding/Mites

I would give the snake a day or so after it sheds before spraying it, just in case.

I know that the products recommended in this article may not be available where you are, but if you can find a product to use in the cage in addition to the mite off on the snake itself, you'll have an easier time getting rid of the mites completely.

Hope that helps, even just a little bit!
