neither of those will work well
Here are 2 good thermostats:
The hydrofarm is considered the cheapest acceptable thermostat: http://www.amazon.com/Hydrofarm-MTPR.../dp/B000NZZG3S
The Herpstat is the safest and has the most features: http://spyderrobotics.com/home/products.html

I got a hydrofarm off amazon for fairly cheap it was 27 bucks with free shipping. I only use it in my quarantine room though it would be best to invest in a good t-stat like the herpstat i have the herpstat 2 and love it does everything you would ever need.

Go with the Hydrofarm, 28 bucks off Amazon. I have at least 10 of them they've been running for almost 2 years without a problem.

Re: thermostat advice needed
Thanks for the input, the hydrofarm has been purchased. now my next question is would a fogger help control the humidity?

Foggers will help with humidity but are super overkill for a ball python.
There are better and cheaper ways of controlling humidity.
