The Longest 60 days of my life.
So when I first started breeding Ball Pythons, I use to look at guys like Ralph Davis, Kevin McCurley, Dave and Tracy Barker, Mark and Kim Bell, Sean at EbN and I just marveled at the two and three gene combo's they were producing. Back in those days Bumble Bee's , Lemon Blast's, Pewter's things like that were golden. Now as the years have gone on people have gotten really use to seeing two even three gene snakes have they seem to have lost their luster. Well as time went on its seems that the more gene's the better people see to like the animals. So last year we produced this little group.

Well this year I really wanted to push the envelope. So here is the progression of our most exciting clutch of the year.
It started like this

Then it looked like this.

and tonight.. I give you..this, and just a note. There are 5 gene's floating around in these egg's and when they hatch.. I'll let the cat out of the bag on what the other gene that make that Bee look like she does.
Now comes the longest 60 days of my life.!

Awesome, tick tock!!
I do love the huge combo snakes for obvious reasons, but I still admire the double gene and even single gene snakes. I understand that we see bees, pewters, blasts etc all the time now and that they are more common, but I feel these are the building blocks of our hobby and as far as I am concerned lack luster ball pythons are few and far between.
This being said, man I would love a 5 gene combo in my collection!
