    Feeding question

I have an male albino ball and he is currently 200 g. He was eating twice a week consistently, but then this week he just stopped and wouldn't feed. I think he may be in shed though because his eyes are cloudy. Is it normal for balls to go off feed during shedding?

    Re: Feeding question

Indeed it is. Some will stil take it, some won't. Try again after he sheds.

Some will also get a bit nippy during this time because they can't see as well.

Depends on the snake. Some will eat in shed, some not. But bps can go off feed for no good reason too.

That's normal. Soon the eyes will clear up and you will have a shed in your cage quickly after that!

I feed my babies twice a week.. 2 of my current month old hatchlings have been eating every 3-4 days. Twice a week or so is good for very young babies like that. I let mine decide when they're ready for a 7 day schedule.

Since BPs will almost always go off feed at some point, it's good to beef them up while very young.

Yeah that's why I've been feeding him twice a week. He finished shedding 3 days ago, but still isn't eating. Should I be worried? Thanks
