Plastic Cage set-up for BP

I am about to order a 36x24x14 modular cage from Constrictors NW and am planning on getting a radiant heat panel (pro-products) appropriate for the cage size and room conditions. This will be the last cage our BP will need.

Question: I am interested in decorating the new cage so it's more interesting for us (and perhaps for our BP Persephone, but not sure she cares about that) but am concerned about whether anything will adhere to the walls or floor (for stability) because of the marine-grade HDPE material used for the cage. I am not convinced anything will adhere to the tank walls or floor. Any experience with this or pictures would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well here is my thread on Plastic cages, that size should be big enough for life. I like 48 x 24 x 12 cages myself, but there really isn't much difference

What are you trying to stick to the walls? The best thing about plastic cages is that you can drill holes in them to mount things... like so:





I keep a minimalistic cage set up. I feel that a sterile and secure cage is better for my snakes than a "good" looking one that is impossible to keep clean. I'm not saying that you shouldn't make a display cage, but you do need to understand that it will be a lot of work to keep clean.

Thanks Aaron. I have not decided on decorations, but some greenery and some wood objects would be nice. I just was not sure how best to secure them so she won't accidentally knock them over or pull them down.
