Well, it's official. I just accepted a position with Member Services at Sam's Club, and will be starting the Wal-Mart Manager in Training Program within the next few months. So, I go from working for Uncle Sam to working for Big Sam.

Several things came together for this to work in my favor; Wal-Mart has a push on to hire retired military, there are some great opportunities for advancement in the company, and for this area, the money isn't bad at all.

Still, I have this strange feeling that I just got recruited by Darth Vader and have now joined the Empire...
