Egg question

Ok so I'm sure I didnt notice it because it was my first clutch...

The eggs in my first clutch are fairly small in length compaired to the ones in my second.
They measure little less than 3 inches to just 3inches.

The eggs from my second clutch are at 3 1/2 to 4 inches long.

Obviously theres nothing that can be done but I'm worried the smaller eggs wont be able to hold a baby to full term? Does anyone have any input on the matter?

Also my eggs from the first clutch have started to change...they are 3 days old and they are getting bubbly and changing...are these ones dying?
Temp in the incubator is 88 and humidity in the tubs are at 95%.

I'll include these pictures, you can count the grids on the diffuser for size reference, and also to see the weird looking change the eggs in clutch #1 are going through.

Did you candle them? Can you see any good vascularity?

They look good. Some are smaller, some are bigger, they are all different. I just had a clutch with some huge ones and smaller ones and they are all good. They will just have smaller babies.
oops didnt see the bubbly ones, not sure on those, just have to wait and see.

Yes all 10 of those small eggs had great veins.

I'm just concerned they will be VERY small, if they have room to grow enough to hatch at all. ugg

The smaller eggs will be just fine . The "bubbles" are cause by differences in the amount of calcium in the shell. They should be fine too.

Ok, now the egg that is pictured on the bottom right of the first clutch (smaller ones) has started to get mold on it. Is it safe to say that egg is no longer good? Or should I try and remove the little bit of mold for the next 45+ days? Should I try candling it again?
Any input would be helpful.

Mold does not necessarily it is dead but just keep an eye on it. If it turns black than its bad. I have had a dead egg stuck to a good one that has gone full term without any problems.

Well I have to ask these questions so I know whats normal and not.
The first few times incubating eggs always sucks, they are just so stressful. Mostly because you dont know exactly what to expect or what is normal. But a great learning experience for sure!

You can wipe those off with a damp cloth. Just be gentle. Some folks put betadine on the cloth too.
