Someone To Sex My BP?

Sorry, I was looking through the forums, wasn't exactly sure where to post this.

I've seen the how to videos on youtube, and I tried pop-sexing my snake, but I don't wanna hurt 'em. I was told it was male when I got it, but...I dunno.

Is there anyone locally, lives in South/central Indiana? Near Taylorsville/Columbus area to be exact? Someone with experience so I can get a 100% sex.

you could buy a probing kit at a local reptile store, or online, might make it easier for you.. that way you can learn to do it on your own and not depend on someone else all the time to sex them for you.

No one should attempt probing without having been taught how to do it properly by someone experienced first. You could seriously injure your snake if you do it wrong. So I would NOT go out and buy a probing kit at some local reptile shop and start poking around. You are doing the right thing in trying to find someone experienced to help you. Or you could always take it to your reptile vet and have them do it for you.

Was in the plan, but would rather have someone to teach me to do it first. Since I don't want to end up hurting 'em. I know they say the ball-tips are the best.

My friend, who owns quite a few snakes, learned from going to an Expo and asking a vendor there. Just in case if you have one near by going on soon

I learned from watching hundreds of them being done by an experienced breeder and then was walked through it for the first dozen or so times. Its not difficult but just wanted to make sure that I wasnt going to hurt an animal in the learning process. If it is just one snake then I would take it with me to an expo or a local breeder and ask if they could do it for you. Most breeders at the shows will be happy to sex it for you and then try to sell you the opposite sex so you can make some cool combos. lol

Was going to bring Ayida to the show Sunday but at 40 mins away, with the gas, and ten bucks to enter the show, its really not worth it. So hoping to find a reptile vet or breeder near by.
