female still eating but no more locks?

Just a quick question.. my female mojo last locked with my male pastel April 27th. But she took a small rat on the 24th of this month. Can she be gravid but still eating? I haven't seen her ovy as of yet? Unless she's locking with him and I have missed it? I check in the am & pm so its possible that they have locked but maybe not for as many hours.

I feel huge follicles, 4 for certain but sometimes I think its 5 or 6. So my question is, is it possible she knows she has sperm retained for when she does ovy and that's why she's not locking? He has been trying, when I check on them his tail is always next to hers. I just find it strange she still ate.. any info would be great.

    Thanks so much,
    Filly

Re: female still eating but no more locks?

My females usually go off feed months before they ovulate but occasionally one or two will take a meal after fasting. Shes probably getting ready to go and knows shes good to go. I would pair a couple more times and see what happens, they wont lock every time. Goodluck
