Prep your Apocalypse team! This might be your only warning.

Do you and your family/friends/roommates have a Zombie Apocalypse plan? CEDA recommends you do. I haven't really reconsidered my plan since moving from Suburbia Oklahoma to the massive mess that is Delaware, but the boyfriend intends to meet up with some friends and stake out on a family member's farm. Think Hershel's farm in The Walking Dead. Less crazy people though, hopefully.

Well, World War Z was a great read - not necessarily the best written book, but very thought provoking and interesting.

As for our plan - I'm heading to either the family farm or my uncle's house. Both have high rooftops, surrounded by lots of open fields, isolated water well and septic systems, and contain collections of guns and knives as well as reloading equipment for all types of firearms. Ironically, they both have all this stuff because they are part of historic reenactment groups, and only shoot the occasional deer. Actually, the "true hunters" I know of have far less firearms... kinda weird huh?

I'm still trying to work out a good way to do a flaming arrow... or one that explodes on impact or something as I am more accurate with a bow than anything else.

Hey, between the Rapture people and the Mayans, I'm willing to at least think about the possibility... or I'm usually up really late at night and weird too. Who knows?

Good to know old fashioned lead still worked on him (the face-eating zombie, that is). Or were they copper jacketed rounds? Article doesn't specify that, dang it all! Wonder how it'll spread: airborne or viral or blood borne via bites or...? Hmmm. Me and mine will be going to the range this Memorial Day, I think, lol!

It always starts this way. One disturbing incident gets passed off as a drug addict. A few more pop up in the area and before you know it, BOOM! Apocalypse! If you'll notice in the article it took several rounds to actually stop/kill the attacker.
