    More Eggs at Squamish Serpents!

This is our 3rd BP clutch of the year. Was hoping for a few more, but I just don't know if the females reabsorbed, or what's going on. Time will tell. Either way, VERY happy that this clutch turned out so well!

het. Albino (F) x Spider het. Albino (M)

It's a GORGEOUS pairing for sure! I'll throw up some photos of the dam & sire in just a little bit. For now, here's a very quick video. Hope the embedding works.

That's a very cool pairing. Can't wait to see some little noses pipping!

Thanks guys. It would be especially sweet if we hit some good odds, as the male lost a hemipene this season Vet said not to worry and it's a very common thing he sees in his practice. Either way, I worried! Rushed him down to Dewdney Animal Hospital (4hr round trip, but luckily it was on our way to the BC Reptile Club Expo) and the vet was nice enough to meet us at the practice after hours. Did a swab for bacteria at no charge, and had the meds all ready to go when we arrived. Cannot say enough great things about Dr. Adrian Walton, so if you're ever in need of a herp vet in BC, he's your guy!

Anyways, we were pairing him up with our Albino female #2 as well, but that's been put on the backburner while he heals up. I think he's got 2 more Baytril injections to go. His vent is already looking loads better, so here's to hoping he can continue sowing his wild oats in future seasons. I'll be very sad if not, he's one of my very favorite snakes, and our FIRST EVER ball python that we hatched.

This is going to be a long wait!

Here is the 2nd video I made of me pulling the eggs. Sort of. You don't actually get to see the action because I was filming it one handed. But here ya go!
