    Quick tub hole question.

Ok so looking at alot of the people holes in their tubs mine are pretty much the same as far as the sides are concerned. My question is....When I started drilling my holes I put quite a few 1/8" holes around the lid....Is this something that should be avoided? Think it will cause any humidity problems?

Well. You should start out w/ less holes and run a humidity test. Too humid, just add more holes accordingly. It's easy to add more holes and more difficult to take away, so be careful.

I have a rack so there's no lids on my tubs. I do 5 evenly spaced holes on each sides of the tub.

Back when I didn't have a rack and only had stand alone tubs with lids, I put more holes. I did 2 rows of holes exactly 1 inch apart on all 4 sides of the tub and had perfect humidity.

On my sides I have about the same. 2 staggered rows of 1/8" holes about 1-1/4" apart. I guess worse case scenario I'll have to buy a another $7 tub for the lid. I could maybe use the extra tub to feed it in or something.

Yeah. The great thing about tubs is that they're so cheap to replace.

It's not really advised to feed BPs in a separate container. It creates unnecessary stress.
But there are tons of other uses for a spare storage tub. haha
