I will usually put a damp washcloth on their hide. It puts the humidity up real quick. I dampen it in the morning and then again when I get home. Keeps it around 75%. I use a washcloth instead of misting because I use paper substrate and don't want to take a chance of them laying in the wetness for an extended period of time.

You can also mist it, about twice a day.

misting with hot water is the fastest way to up your humidity short of buying a fogger.

A wide, flat water bowl... you're looking for surface area. I can switch bowls and change humidity 20% on my tubs.

I'd say to mist it. That's what I do.

I never mist, I push the water bowl over the heat source when I see a shed coming and have nothing but one piece sheds.
Been doing it for years, I can't recall the last bad shed I had...
