    New snake and OG question

When I went to buy this girl, I had the option between this one and another OG that had a much lighter/orange color and a lot more random speckling and irregularity to the spotting in the pattern. The guy said THAT snake was a cross between the NERD OG and some other line (3 letter acronym I can't remember). The one I chose is NERD OG for both parents. I know it comes down to what I LIKE, which is why I picked this snake, but I'm wondering if those are more sought after characteristics or a better example of the morph? (light color, speckly pattern, etc) and am I correct in assuming that they darken up / wash out with age like a pastel? The snake I bought was sold to me as 2010, although that communication wasn't entirely clear. The male she was next to was DEFINITELY 2010 but she's only 413g. Something about the size of her head and shape of her body made me feel like it was conceivable for her to be 2010. Head size a good indicator in this case? I mainly picked this snake because I absolutely LOVE the pattern on her. Super clean and symmetrical. Is this what they mean when they say 'classic jungle pattern'? I also REALLY like that her belly is perfectly clean all the way down. The other snake had some heavy irregular speckling that wasn't doing it for me. That snake was, however, more expensive at 400 and the same weight - 2011. I also paid 325, reasonable? Whether it's 2010 or 2011 or a better or worse example of the morph, I am still extremely pleased. Enjoy
