    Hissing

My friend's burm has been hissing in his cage. It sounds like a big sigh. He does it many times a day. He's never struck at anyone. Why does he hiss.

Assuming this is an actual question - He's a burmese python. They can be pretty vocal.

Nice try, but all someone has to do is look at your past posts.

I had no idea :o I knew snakes could hiss but I didn't think there would be some considered "vocal"

While I have nothing to contribute as far as your question goes, I share your sentiment about the contributions others have made.

Way to be guys...I just spent a few minutes going over the OP's past posts, and while I can see where he may have rubbed some the wrong way, no reason to jump on him over what seems to be a perfectly legitimate question. Ignoring is a perfectly reasonable route to take and far less time consuming.
