It's tough to say from the pics but she's defiantly a little plumper. She's in great shape for being lost in a pet store! Just keep an eye out between her back legs. If there are eggs in there you can see them as they develop quite clearly. Good luck!

Her chubbiness is one of the main reasons I suspect it, I don't understand how she could get so plump off of escaped crickets. She is going crazy licking her calcium, but that could be because she has never had such steady access. Is there a time it should be obvious by if, for calculations sake, she got pregnant a little over 2 weeks ago before I got her?

Re: Rescue Leo! Pregnant?! [Lots of pics]
We have a few loose lizards in the pet store where I work and I dare say they live like kings. There's a tokay that we see occasionally, and he's always bigger than before. He escaped the same day that we found a leopard gecko that had been loose for 6 months or so, which was pretty small when we got it and by the time we caught it, it had the fattest tail I've ever seen. It might sound weird but I think it might be easier for them to thrive outside the system than in. The system is kept at a fixed temperature and it's almost impossible to establish a temperature gradient, but loose on the floor they have access to almost unlimited food, little nooks to hide in and they can regulate their temperature better.
That said, while it would be really great for your leo to be pregnant, there would pretty much have to be another loose leo. Do they know that there were more than one loose? Or had they kept her in a cage with another one before giving her to you?

Re: Rescue Leo! Pregnant?! [Lots of pics]
I suppose that makes sense!
And I believe over the past few years a couple others have gotten loose too, though she is the only one they have ever caught. I guess it's just a waiting game now

Her tail is HUGE! Is it a re-growth or is it just naturally like that?
Congrats on her being gravid though! Be sure to let us know when she lays (with pictures!)

Re: Rescue Leo! Pregnant?! [Lots of pics]
She lost it one (or more) times when she was loose. You're right, it's huge! And it's grown a little since she came to me, I guess a butterworm or two for a treat makes her butt look big

I love her name too! I named her after the dragon Saphira from Eragon who was stumbled upon, just like her
