    Question Blood and contractions?

Simply a random question but I figured I should ask:

Humans, when they are about to give birth, have contractions and mild traces of blood can be found. I was wondering if the same was for ball pythons right before they lay.

Also, can a ball python have a harder time breathing right before/during the laying process?

    Thanks.

The act of a Ball Python laying eggs is more similar to a chicken laying your breakfast than a human giving birth.

Mild contractions, yes. Blood, not every time, but possible.

Yea pretty much what slim said. Also as long as you administer the epidural properly your snake shouldnt fuss too much.
