Picky snake doesn't want f/t or live right now
Well, my little garbage disposal of a pastel has decided that he no longer wants to eat. He is over 800 grams and just started refusing food. He doesn't want live or f/t prey. I have tried everything except for ASF's. They are not easy to come by where I live. So I guess I will just have to wait him out until he finally decides he wants to eat again.

I have several bps off feed right now also - very aggravating to say the least.
I just keep offering each week and wait them out. I've had one male go 10 months without food and was no worse for wear.
This past Sunday was our feeding night and not one of my 6 bps would eat. That was a first time that all of them refused. My boa and milksnake had no problem eating though.
Those darn bp's will drive ya nuts.

Seriously, that can't be good for the snakes, can they? They are made of beef! Sure they added some calcium but I really don't see how it compares to a rat skeleton, does it? And I don't see any reference to internal organs? I'm surprised they would even take it.
Then again I'm no expert, so maybe I'm wrong? Is this stuff actually good for snakes???
EDIT: OOPS, sorry I just re-read the ingredients, they included beef hearts.... LOL
