    Escaped, but Found.

So we had our first (& hopefully Last) "Snake escape Scare".

This is one thing i've been worried about, since we brought her home. Most of our friends ask silly questions, like "Aren't you afraid she'll escape????" and imply her first mission will be to come and attack us in our sleep. LOL
but My fear of escape is of course for the safety of the snake.

Yesterday I went into to check her before we left for church. and didn't see her anywhere, my heart just sank. I looked at the top and thought there is NO way she could have got out. She must be in there some where!! Then checked again and realized one part of the top was not on the tracks all the way. (its a tank with slide on locking screen top) - I can't believe she got out of this little area. First of all, I have some "greens" suctioned on the side, but there aren't any close to this corner, so how she got up there and strong enough to lift it up and get through, is just amazing to me.

We started searching my daughters room and found her under her beanbag chair. Poor thing was pretty chilly. So some how between midnight and 7 a.m- she made her escape.

Luckily she seems unphased by her adventures. Not sure about the rest of us though. lol

I told the kids they can't tell anyone this story, especially Grandma, because she will never come visit again!! Needless to say- we'll be using even MORE caution with the security of her enclosure
