This is a beautiful 5 egg clutch from a Pastel Normal Breeding my buddy did last fall.

The male Pastel was Apparently sick with an RI during the breeding season because he died within days of my buddy pairing him with the female Normal. She came down with RI after that and he was unable to take her to the vet. I rescued/adopted the female from him in January(3 months after she developed symptoms) and Immediately got her into the Vet and on antiobiotics, She has been on Ceftazidime since January injected every three days.

I went in to check on her and found her Ovulating about a month after I got her. (Pic #1)

She laid this clutch a few weeks ago and has since come back on feed. She was 1700 grams when I got her, after laying she was 1050 grams. However all the eggs are large with good veins and i occasionally see an eye spot when I candle them!!! The mother however seems to be getting worse, before she laid she was no longer producing phlegm and only had a slight rattle when she was breathing. She has been receiving Injections of Ceftazidime every 3 days for almost 5 months now and I have begun nebulization treatments of F10 and Amikacin. This is the most expensive clutch of Ball Pythons i have ever produced!!!

Any Suggestion on what I can do get this girl healthy would be greatly appreciated I feel like she has fought too hard to lose her now!!!
