Possible RI

So i have a possible case of an ri if anything i caught it real early. The only sign's i have noticed were small pops or clicks when he flicks his tongue no bubbles unless i lightly squeeze his snout. I have a new bp coming in on monday and want to put her in a qt but my qt room has the possible ri What should i do? Basically i dont have allot of space and have 2 closets one has my established collection and the other is my qt room/ rat room. Should i put the new animal in the same closet with a possible ri but keep them as far away as possible.. Or should i buy a new thermostat and put them in my living room?

If you have the means and the room, this sounds like the best option.

Definitely keep them as far away as possible. If that means a but of extra money for a new tstat it's worth it.
For the one that has a possible Ri bump your heat to 95.f keep your humidity up. Make sure your ventalation is adequate, and keep the stress level as down as possible. No handling except when absolutely necessary.
Since you only have two you might want to consider switching off the days you work with them so you have an easier time not dealing with possible contamination.

Thanks homegrown and slim! I am going to bump up the temps and separate the two ill have to pick up a cheap stat from amazon or something.. How long do minor ri's take to heal and also at what point should i consider a vet if i start seeing external bubbles?

It should clear up within a week or two depending if you caught it early. If it gets worse in ANY way though, it will be time to see a vet. Ris a very treatable even in later stages with the right abos and husbandry.

Personally I would not wait and go see a vet. I believe that it might abate given time and correct temps but it also may not really go away and re appear. I would suggest vet and culture and pointed antibiotics.

Im going to give him a couple weeks before i jump the gun on a vet trip... I'm not even sure if it is one or not only signs i see are clicking when the tung flicks and very small bubbling when i squeeze the snout. How much do vet trips normally cost the checkup and anti biotics?

Anyone have any success with f10 and the bhb technique with a steamer?

Just going to take your advice and take him to the vet instead of spending money on this stuff. Do you know of a vet in the RI area?
