    Champagne Spider or Ivory Pastel

I'm a first time BP owner- and I am willing to save and pinch pennies in order to get this one morph that a saw at an expo last year.

It either was a Champagne Spider or Ivory pastel ....Super pastel Ivory?

Basically the snake was ALL CREAM colored - with little dark eyes.
no markings ( or barley there markings )

I've been looking for breeders that have this morph. but haven't had much luck.
Again I'm new to all this HET/ Lesser / Co-dominant (etc) snake language.

I was hoping someone could reccomend a great breeder with fair prices that is either located in California or will ship to it.

    thanks in advance!

well I got bad news for you, if your sure it was one of those 2 animals, from your description it had to of been the champagne spider and it is known as a lethal combo.

Pastel ivories are white with yellow dorsal stripes... no mistaking that.

    sorry

I have had great luck with Justin Kobylka:

    http://www.jkobylkareptiles.com/

    Some other good breeders are:

    Constrictors Unlimited:

    http://www.constrictors.com/

    Ralph Davis Reptiles:

    http://www.ralphdavisreptiles.com/

    NERD:

    http://newenglandreptile.com/nerd/

With all breeders, they have more available than they can post on their sites so if you can't find what you are looking for give them a call. Chances are they have it or know where you can.

Lethal combo...like that particular snake has genetic/health failings?

or as in they are hard to obtain.... ?

I'll post a picture of the snake I was interested in...you know after I looked for this image it may be a Pastel Super Mojave? Oh boy this is confusing...but this is the snake that I thought was the most beautiful thing ive been in a while.... but then again I think I'm just scratching the surface of these beautiful BP morphs.

Yup. Lethal means it has healthy failures. They may hatch dead or only live for a very short time.

There are a few solid creamy-yellow snakes out there. Try looking at the morph list to find what you like: http://www.worldofballpythons.com

And some ivorys have a yellow or grey tint to them. They're not always solid white.

The vids were neat, especially the side note of the granite woma traits that mixed and cannot be separated anymore, through I am fairly sure I know why too.

one possiblity is that what you saw was a B.E.L which is a Blue Eyed Lucy. im in love with those snakes, if it had blue eyes then it was a blue eyed lucy, but if it had black eyes then it is a Black Eyed Lucy.
