Ventilation holes for 32qt tubs?

Just bought a 32 qt 5 drawer snake rack since I'm getting more BPs. Any how I was wondering how many holes I should put in these tubs for proper ventilation and humidity. (can't put my snakes in the rack till I get these holes drilled )

Also If you have any advice how to make the holes nice and flush with the others and without cracking the tubs I'd appreciate it, I'm weird when it comes to doing stuff I have to get it perfect.

How many holes do I need on each side and the front, and do I got to drill holes in the back of the tub as well? What size drill bit should I use?

First off, don't use a drill bit. They just don't work well in plastic and it's a sure fire way to make your holes ragged. A wood burner or the tip of a hot glue gun works great.

As for the number of holes you'll need, that will depend on several factors: ambient humidity in your house, size of your water bowl, location of your water bowl (hot side or cool side), and your choice of substrate.

The best thing you can do is start with less holes than you think you need, and go from there.

Not trying to be confrontational but i use a drill bit and it works perfectly fine. If theres any jagged edges just melt them with a lighter a little bit.

I'll start with a cpl of holes and go from there, gonna try both methods and see what works the best for me thanks for the input guys.

For the $5 it cost a solder pen is well worth the investment, cracking one tub with a drill bit will cost more than the solder pen.

Start with 3-4 holdes per side and a couple up front and go from there.
I prefer not to have holes in the back of the tubs especially if the room is cool.

Awesome gonna head to harbor freight since I'm about 20 mins away from one. I don't come on here very often but when I do log on and need to ask a question no matter what it is about I get a answer from experienced people, love this site thanks again.
