just for my two cents . . .

If you want to breed, breed what you want. You will be the one cleaning up after them, raising them, and attempting to sell them. If you knew what percentage your lines are it would probably aid in your choice, many people like to breed back into Diamond, but are usually doing so to bring over a trate from another sub-species (i.e. Jags, Zebra, Granite).

If you have just a straight cross Diamond / Jungle, you're probably looking at 50%. If you were to cross it with a Diamond, you'd be able to obtain a 75% Diamond, 25% Jungle. However, that being said, Pure Diamonds are $$$ and harder to come by than these crosses or "clean" Jungle Carpets.

If you are to cross it back into the Jungel Carpets, you would get 75% Jungle 25% Diamond, but unless it's carrying a specific trait, again like Zebra, it's moot to try and breed toward consumer genetics and just focus on what outcome you want to see.

If cost is an issue, just pick up a Sibling and cross it and see what you get, genetics will be messy and you'll end up with something like 50% 37.5% and 12.5% of Jungle, Diamond, and Coastal for instance if crossed it with a Jungle Jag sibling (first generation).
