Talking Some pics of the new enclosure, bite pics (with action shots) and length updates

Okay so here's the story behind the bites' because I know you guys will want to see those first.

This bite was the very first time she'd ever bitten someone and it happened about 2 weeks ago. My friend came over to check out some of the skyrim mods and how it runs on my computer ( I have a gaming rig) and after a while asked to hold pandora. I get her out for him, and the first thing he says is "She's not going to bite me is she?". I tell him no, because she's NEVER bitten anyone. I get her out and hand her to him and I turn around for literally 30 seconds only to hear my buddy say "dude. She's biting me." I turn around and immediately crack up laughing at the amount of interest he had in her biting him because he had her an inch from his face. We went and put her under some water and got her to let go and this is what we came up with.

Small amount of blood was the bottom of her mouth and the large amount was top.

Then we have the second bite which happened literally days later. I've always cage fed my snakes for a few reasons. They probably feel more secure eating in a comfortable area and retic specific, you dont want to have to put a 16+ foot snake in feeding mode back in it's cage. So I open the door to her enclosure and stick the rat (in the box) in her cage because she was in her hide box on the upper level. When ever she caught wind of it I opened the door, pulled the rat out and went to pre-kill it. I come back, and she's pushed the door open and is sitting there wrapped around the door half way out of the cage so we're trying to put her back in. My friend just says "here i'll stick her in there, put the rat in there once I've got her situated." He picks her up and almost immediately receives this, even though he never touched the rat (example of a retic feeding response). Check out those needle sharp teeth everywhere lmao.

And finally here's some pics of the enclosure. I got it for free from a friend who built a bigger enclosure for his RTB and I'm hoping this will last me for atleast 2-3 years. We'll see.

This is the top right side where the basking area is. I know the 97 seems high but the probe is in between a uth and a piece of plexi glass under a piece of carpet, which is under the warm side hide in the bottm left of the cage. The actual temp in the hide is between 92-93 and my night time temps are between 75-80.

Top left side or "cold side" The hides are small sterelite top opening totes that i flipped upside down, cut a hole in the side and then painted with plastidip. It's a rubber based spray paint that dries flat black and is removable.

Underneath the basking side there's a built in waterfall. She actually spends a lot of time in the pool, or like she is in this picture with her body under the stream of water that comes out of the waterfall. I guess she likes the way it feels.

Left side bottom level. This is where the UTH is. It's below a piece of plexi glass, under a layer of out door rubber carpet. I've found this is the best way to hit the lower 90's inside the hide.

You cant really tell how long she is but she's past the 4.5' mark.

Sorry for such a long write up but as of right now diablo 3 open beta is on it's last leg and I have no one to play with so I decided to write my entire life's story on BP.net. Hope you guys enjoyed. Also feel free to critique my set up. The enclosure is definitely getting a refresh this summer when I have the time as the floor has water damage and a few pieces of wood need repainted etc.

Thanks for reading if you made it this far!

    Edit: Forgot the length pic
