    Rack question

I'm thinking about setting up a rack to make some space. I plan to (for now) continue using my glass cages with UTH's on a thermostat, but will consider tubs and flexwatt later on, especially if my collection expands any more lol.

My first question would be, since I'm only using the glass cages right now, do you guys think this shelving unit would work?

    http://www.homedepot.com/Storage-Org...&storeId=10051

Was looking at all the Home Depot shelves and saw this one, it's relatively cheap and I assume would hold the weight (I don't think even my 40 gallon breeder, which is just a simple leopard gecko setup with nothing special or heavy in it, would surpass 125 lbs.). I didn't want to use plastic because I wasn't sure how they would hold up to glass cage weight, and was a little concerned about the heating, even though the UTH's wouldn't be directly on the shelves. Also because if I go with tubs, it would be much easier to adjust the height of the levels.

For now I plan to find a shelving unit that would hold a 40 gallon breeder on the bottom, a 20 gallon long above that, and two 10 gallons above that.

My other question is, if I go the tub route, what would I do for the flexwatt? I imagine it wouldn't be a good idea to put it on the metal shelves. I could always use the frugal herper's snake rack idea and put some wooden boards along the tops and bottoms of the shelves, for the flexwatt and to cover the ridges on the underside.
