What are you measuring temps with? It should be a digital thermometer with probe. What are you heating with? Is it 90 just on the basking spot or all on hot side? 70 is way too cold for cool side. The fact that he spent 4 days over there in that temp means somethings not right. Their humidity level should be higher more like 49-60%. What do you mean you can't live in an 80 degree room temp? He should be.

Is there bubbles coming out of his mouth or any wheezing? What does the inside of his mouth look like? If you take the edge of a credit card and lift his mouth open (do this carefully) what does it look like?

Yeah. I've never dealt with RI so maybe another member can correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like respiratory infection or maybe some type of infection. I honestly Hope not but the green stuff is un nerving.
I'll definately watch this thread.

Was the drool watery or did have a thicker consistency?
They will sometimes expel water when being handled right after drinking, but it will look like water. If it looked thicker than that, it was probably something else. Dried mucus on his face is not a good sign. Might be time for a visit to the Vet.

BTW, punctuation is your friend. Not only are commas and periods nothing to be afraid of, they actually make it possible for others to read what you are saying

yeah usually I worry about punctuation but I freaked out when I saw the drool. it was a good amount that came out but he was facing down when it happened. I had him by mid body and he was stretched out straight on a downward angle, that's when it all came out. it was almost like dog drool but not as thick. I use paper towels as bedding and that's where it all landed. it dried up clear like water does, no stains left behind on the paper towels, nothing. he was searching the tank looking for food. he knows when I clean the tank hes getting fed. so I went ahead and fed him, every thing went normal. hes on the hot side like he should be. what bothers me is the amount that came out, and it came out like running water than dribbled, and than started again and dribbled. and it stretched down from his mouth like a dog's does when it watches you eat. and the crusty stuff I looked at it again, I was panicking before and just saw and reacted, I looked again its actually part of his marking right in front of his mouth I touched it there's nothing crusty there. I guess over reacting and the new scales made me see what i was thinking.
