Can I wire Flexwatt to a digital thermometer?

Hello, Im in the planning stage of building my snake rack, and fridge incubator.

Im currently planning to use 11" Flexwatt as my heating element, but I read that like heat pads, the temperatures can go way out of control every now and again.

I also read that there was a digital thermometer that you could set the temperature to, and it would cut back on the electricity, just in case it got too hot.

I tried to find the product myself using google, but the only thing I found was called Alife, and the reviews I saw looked terrible. Are there any better/more reliable ones that I may have just not seen?

Use a herpstat, Vivarium electronics ve-200, or a helix thermostat to control your heat tape. Get a proportional thermostat instead of an on/off type.
