hype about granites?
What's with the hype about granites? Just want to hear what you all like or dislike about it. I really see no point in them I think it just messes up the pattern.

That's exactly what I love about them...I love busy, broken up, spotty, funky patterns.

This, i LOVE busy. Reduced is nice, but it gets boring when everything is reduced.

There are different granite types and they all do something different. Very underrated! Im working with granites that do far far more than just add some speckles. If it wasn't for the granite gene you wouldn't see a lot of the cool morphs you see today. Just check out the Mojave granite on world of ball pythons. Add a couple more genes and what do you got? Love the granites!

Im not very impressed by them by themselves but they do some cool stuff when added to other genes. Will def be getting involved in some granite stuff sometime this year.

The granite gene by itself doesnt wow me. But when combined with mojave, black pastel, cinny etc... It makes for a very cool snake!
Kinda like enchis. I dont like enchis buy themselves. But when combined with another morph, like a pastel enchi or enchi lesser, i love them!

I'm personally not all that hyped about granites, but that just means unless I find an animal that I like that I just won't buy them Used to not see any beauty in pieds either until I saw them in person, and now I've been looking FOREVER for just one pied girl with the right amount of white. My mind has been changed before and it'll probably change again another hundred times. The combos look cool, maybe a granite savannah would be worth looking into

I think the problem is that some will call anything with some black speckling a granite...
True genetic granites can do some neat stuff.
