Re: Update of aquarium solution of my own
Thank you it was quite the little project. The true test will be what kind of temps and humidity it will hold nicely. My girl is currently in a glass aquarium and temps are very difficult to keep and humidity forget it.

Make sure you have enough ventilation hole. I have used just plexy versions (I think you have referred to) and found that with out enough holes it quickly becomes stale and old smelling I found that holes low and high work the best. I have used 1/4 inch holes and 2 rows of the ever inch off set, both top and bottom.

What kind of snake are you putting in this enclosure?

Re: Update of aquarium solution of my own
I will be putting a ball python in this cage. And yes I have enough airflow designed in with a air gap on the door itself. Should get plenty of fresh oxygen.

Hopefully that is enough. The last time I heard that was a fellow with a rack and a 1/4 inch at the top, he ended up with 4 cases of RI. Airflow and RI have been connected for quite some time.

Re: Update of aquarium solution of my own
I had trouble over the weekend trying to get correct temps so I'm going to take the aquarium back out and add some insulation and close in the back. I believe there is too much open air around the aquarium so i am fighting air temperature really bad.
